Thank you Jesus,
for saving my soul.

That if thou shalt confess with thy
mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9-10

A little boy walked up to this old preacher,
after the preacher had just got finished preaching
a sermon on getting saved and asked,
"Mr. Preacher
How do you know that you are saved?"
You are not in Heaven yet!
The old preacher took the little boy by the
hand across the street to a baseball field.

The old man looked at the little lad and asked him,
"Son have you ever been to a
baseball game before?"
The little boy said "yes sir I have"
The old preacher said
"Son, when a person gets up to bat, if he knocks the ball out of the park its a automatic home run. Right?

But the batter still has to run the bases,
and He has to touch the home base."

"Well going to Heaven is kinda like that."
"Once that ball has been knocked out of the park
its a automatic home run."

"But you still have to run the bases."
"You run on to 1st base
and you get justfied."

"Then you run on to 2nd base
and you get sanctified."

"And then you run on to 3rd base
and you get purified."

The old man said,
and then there is nothing left for you
to do, but to go on home.

"But Son the best thing about this
ballgame is that we don't even
have to get up and bat.
The old man began to dance!!!.

He said Jesus knocked that ball out
of  the park 2000 years ago.
Praise the Lord the old man shouted!
Dancing and shouting all over the field.

He looked down at the little
boy and the little boy was crying.
The old preacher said
Son,"That is how I know that I am saved."
The old man looked down at the little boy,
and the little boy took off running.

Fearing that he had scared
the little boy in some way,
The old man asked,
"Son where are you going?
He said I've got to run those bases.
Because I just saw Jesus knock
that ball out of this park!!!

Prayer: Dear Jesus thank you
so much for saving our souls.
You did all of the work on that hill called
Calvary, and because of what you did.
We know that we are saved.
Lord thank you for knocking that
ball out of the park for us.
